Verify a document
Check a file against the notary record
Drop a file to check whether it matches an entry in the notary. The file is hashed locally in your browser and never leaves your machine. Only the fingerprint is compared against the public record on Celo.
What this checks
If the file matches a record, the result shows the date the fingerprint was sealed, the description recorded at that time, the current status of the record, and the address that signed it. A link to the on-chain attestation is provided so you can confirm the result independently.
If the file does not match, the fingerprint is not present in the record. This could mean the file was never sealed, that it has been altered since sealing, or that a different version was sealed.
Verification depends on nothing but the file and the public record. It requires no cooperation from the signer, no platform access, and no account.
